The world's first! Micro Quanta α perovskite photovoltaic modules passed the IEC61215 and IEC61730 stability system certification

With the authoritative certification of the German Association of Electrical Engineers (VDE), Micro Quanta α modules have successfully passed the IEC61215 and IEC61730 stability system certifications. 

 

The IEC61215 and IEC61730 standards are the most important basic standards in the photovoltaic industry. The certification issued according to this standard is one of the necessary passes for photovoltaic modules to enter the international markets. Previously, the pain point of mass production stability of perovskite that the industry was most worried about has been completely overcome, marking that Micro Quanta has removed the last obstacle for perovskite solar panel to enter the market, which undoubtedly paved the way for the large-scale commercial application of perovskite Road, pushing the development of perovskite industrialization to a new height.

 

PV Module stability achieves advanced leap

 

 

Micro Quanta's stability breakthrough has gone through two stages.

 

The first stage is the IEC stability core project certification for pilot-level components. As early as December 2019, in the early stage of industrialization, for the preliminary testing of materials and processes, they passed the four IEC stability core certifications of damp heat, temperature cycle, UV aging and light aging tests for the first time; in February 2021, they passed The stability of perovskite photovoltaic modules has been tested more stringently.

 

At present, Micro Quanta has successfully entered the second stage, and successfully passed the stability certification of perovskite commercial photovoltaic panels rolled off the 100-megawatt production line. Starting from April 2022, on the first batch of α photovoltaic modules (size: 1245mm×635mm, generating power about 90W), the third-party organization system has carried out wet freezing, thermal cycle, damp heat, creepage, pulse voltage, etc. Dozens of series tests are currently the most complete and comprehensive system-wide tests. The success of the second stage of Micro Quanta perovskite technology stability marks that the industry pain points that restrict the stability of large-area commercial photovoltaic modules of perovskite have been completely overcome. A full set of IEC61215 and IEC61730 stability tests related to higher power α module products are also in progress.
